infringement TV looking for contributors: We are building a web TV station focusing on the festival, its artists and culture-jammers. We're currently running a loop of videos and plan to stream live (yes, it's possible) a few times a week over the next few months and regularly during the festival. If you have a video of one of your performances that you would like to add to the mix or are interested in hosting or contributing to a live show, please contact media@infringementfestival.com  for more information. Call for Directors, Stage Managers and Writers: The Social Justice Committee seeks an Artistic Director and Stage Manager for the production of The Dictatorship of Debt to be presented at a variety of venues in spring 2009. Born out of the SJC's popular interactive workshop detailing the history of the debt crisis, The Dictatorship of Debt has been presented through the years as both a two-act dinner theatre piece and one-act performance.

 

The SJC also seeks a Writer to work with the Social Rights Education Coordinator to adapt the popular presentation, The Price of Guatemalan Gold, on corporate social accountability and the Canadian extractive industry, into a short theatre script.
