infringement Ottawa seeking new organizers to throw together a festival in a couple of weeks

In 2006, the infringement Festival truly made Ottawa it's home.  With shows in the basement, in established venues and the streets of the Byward Market, the Ottawa infringement Festival brought critical theatre and music to the people  without charging a registration fee or accepting conflict-of-interest sponsorships.

This year, we need a few people to get the ball rolling and keep Ottawa infringing along with the rest of the International infringement circuit which began in Montreal in 2004 and has spread as far as Buffalo, NY, Regina, SK and now Bordeaux, France (1st edition, October 2007).

It'll probably be a small one-weekend event in July, including Car Stories but it can be really fun and help re-build the Ottawa team for next year.  Given the timeframe, we've got to act quick.  This could mean anything from including a show you're already playing at the same time in the festival to housing some of our Montreal players, to putting up a few posters.
